intake report
window 7's log
- was installed on 15-10-09
- was ready for basic activity on 16-10-09
- tried to master different software like firefox 3.5.3, realplayer SP, office 2007, portable software, K-lite codec pack, google software pack
general presentation
- was fast in response
- was never turn blue but black once
- used 0.5 hours to process windows update
ADL aspect
- was acceptable in personal hygiene with less duplicated drivers
- reduced weight compared with the last version
- lost skills in PageUp, PageDown, Home and End with present keyboard
- had tidy up the taskbar into a new, convenient bar like client Mac
Work aspect
- mastered well with old skills like Canon M110 and followed Vista driver well
- did not support VMware like office 2007 Portable, Sony Veges Portable
- did not support cracked software like daemon tool Pro
-had bug in operating with Google Earth, Windows Media Classic
Social aspect
- was sociable in ward, link to internet in a more convenient way
- had crashed with client Firefox once
- was cheap in price at $699 for student, $11XX for packed version
Client's future plan:
- accept XP mode on 22.10.09
- was willing to accept windows update for stabilization
Problem identification:
- did not support VMware and cracked software
- had no virtual drivers available
- ? permanent lost of function PageUp, PageDown, Home and End

Pre - WINDOWS 7 - Drivers篇
1. 相信大家都記得每次一出新既WINDOWS的時候，最令人氣結既當然係辛苦FORMAT完部機之後, 又等完MICROSOFT SLOW SPEED INSTALLATION完，結果原來DRIVER唔SUPPORT, 令你有一部份既功能用唔到。繼而跌入 FIGHT AND FLIGHT的老尷位置，不知前進定後退。
如今WINDOWS 7 安裝在即，當然要研究一下DRIVERS既問題啦~!!
其實WIN 7 係VISTA的一個簡化改良版，顯示核心只是由WDDM1.0 轉成了WDDM1.1, 不過要留意既係, 由DIRECTX 10 跳到了11, DRIVER可能仲用到, 不過, 硬件太舊都係會死...
之但係, 身邊SO FAR咁多朋友轉左用WIN 7 TRIAL, 都好少聽到有人用唔到D HARDWARE. 可能因為MICROSOFT今次幫WIN 7 整理左一個更好既DRIVER DATABASE, 好多時只要經WINDOWS UPDATE, 就自然會自動搵到一個合心水既DRIVER。
至於我呢D黑仔人...
部死過返生既LENOVO Y310又會點呢...
